AMD hasn't presented many news on the processor side since the launch of the Bulldozer architecture. Now no less than three new processors, whereof two comes with much higher clock frequencies and one of them ships with water cooling.
The new models are mainly for enthusiasts since they sport high clock frequencies, and like other FX models they are unlocked. At the launch of Bulldozer and FX-8150 the processor would come with water cooling, but so far it has not found the American or Swedish market.

AMD's "Zambezi" FX processor family may have been a let down due to all the hype that "Bulldozer" had, but AMD fans may have hope. AMD's upcoming "Piledriver" architecture, codenamed "Vishera" for the desktop segment, is said to support 10 CPU cores in 5 modules and much better performance. New information has come forth from an internal Software Optimization Guide for AMD's 15h family that recently leaked out.

Intel might not have yet made the server version of its Sandy Bridge-E processors available in the retail market, but the company is already working on the successor of this architecture, dubbed Ivy Bridge-EP, which will feature up to 10 processing cores.
Scheduled to be released no sooner than 2013, an engineering sample of such a CPU has recently been detailed by a leaked CPU-Z screenshot published by Hardcore Hardware.
